One of the most important theoretical bases in any branches of humanities is the anthropological foundations. In the social sciences, such as psychology and consultation, the Kind of attitude towards human and his  also characteristics also determines many of the rules and regulations. The present study, conducted in a descriptive and analytical method, is seeking to find the role of anthropological foundations with an Islamic attitude in tenets, techniques and methods of consultation. Accordingly, from among the numerous Islamic foundation of anthropology, five bases were selected and studied due to their frequent application and effect in the process of consultation. They are as follows: human's divine nature, human's dignity and value, human's free will and choice, purposefulness of human's creation, and multiple spheres of human's existence.

Investigating the effect of these bases on consultation shows that considering any of them has a vivid and concrete role in consultation. After investigation and extracting those denotations, it became clear that some of them show the general principles in consultation and some others contain minute and secondary points and considerations in the process of consultation.
